Thank the Universe for long weekends!!
I think we should start a 3~day~weekend revolution.
I finished Scrublands ~ great read! ~ and moved onto The Handmaids Tale. I liked it and was kept interested and intrigued but not sure if I want to watch the series and have my vision of the characters altered.
I quickly read Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowlings. I found it very Enid Blyton-esque.
I also started and finished Baby and a Backpack by Jane Cornelius. What a life she has lead! Jane sounds like a very brave lady, defs enjoyed her book.

In between all the reading and airplane watching, I had a visitor.
An actual person, that isn't related to me, came to my house.
It's been a long while since I've had the pleasure, and pleasure it was!
We sat in the oh~so~good sunshine, drank coffee and hot choc, and talked and laughed.
I am enjoying getting to know my new friend and it has given my heart a little something to smile about.
Maybe I'm not a lost cause, destined to be a loner-hermit for always.
So thank the Universe for that too!
The day carried on.
Elvis (he needs a new blog-nickname..) sat in the sun with me eating feijoas off the tree.
The sun went down.
It does that ya know ;)
Golden hour was pretty as always!
Shining through all the tiniest places of the garden.
Making me aware of more there is to see.
Until the last of the afternoon sun peeked its head over the fence one last time before ducking down for the night.
Today was a good day.
❤❤❤

Wow you surely got thru some books!! I enjoy reading about your garden and seeing pics, gives me inspiration for my gardening or lack of it 😌
